The Twiggy of duvet covers

This is the Twiggy of duvet covers. If you’re into that, then have at thee my guy/gal/person. But if you’re like me and was expecting something a bit thicker, this is not it.I was excited to put it on, as it arrived so nicely packaged in a box with printed white letters that read “Double Stitch by Bedsure”. The packaging is actually very nice. It comes with a linen bag with the tag hanging on a hemp string. It gives quite the luxurious touch. And so does the duvet… until you put it on.Disclaimer: I have one of those colored comforter inserts smh????. It’s black on one side and dark grey on the other. Because of this and the fact that the duvet is so thin, it relegates the beautiful lilac color of the duvet to a dull, pale, BARELY pink color.I was expecting my duvet to have a lil more OOMPH than this… not thicker than a snicker, but maybe Beyoncé thick - you know what I’m saying?I will be searching for a white insert now so I can use this lilac duvet, as I refuse to use it with the current dark colored comforter.On another note, I like the softness of the duvet, the fact that it’s 100% cotton, and non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100. The attention to detail is nice and the color is beautiful. The texture feels like it would be great for warmer months during spring and summer, not to mention the color screams spring/summer as well lolI’ll probably update my review with a new picture once I get that white insert.

Came well packaged and in a linen bag.Not wrinkle freeSuper soft and comfortable.Not white but more like off-white.(See photo to see the differences between pillow and duvet)I washed the duvet. The design on the duvet took longer to dry.Looks great.
