I love spending my time with my family and we spend a lot of it outdoors! We enjoy hiking, finding frogs and exploring anywhere we can.

What are some design challenges you’ve faced and how did you overcome them?
The hardest part about setting up this room is making it feel like my son's room but also allowing it to feel comfortable when guests come to stay. We try to make the bigger items like his bed, main bedding and other things very basic and interchangeable and then give him freedom to bring in other things that make it feel like his own. His stuffed frog collection is the very first thing he brings to and from his room when someone is staying with us!My whole family has sensitive skin and it has been challenging to find sheets/bedding that doesnt leave us itching or dry in the morning. Double Stitch has been a game changer for us and it is such a comfy night every night!
Advice for someone who wants to make their bedroom cozier?
For me personally, making a bedroom cozier starts with the bed. A good bed arrangement will make you love your bedroom. There are many ways to achieve this like adding to your bed nice throw pillows, a blanket and a puffy comforter or duvet to give texture and layers. These elements can create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making the room feel more comfortable and welcoming. Additionally, incorporating some type of greenery will always bring that sense of freshness to the space. Finally, ambient lights with warm lighting, such as soft lamps or string lights can further enhance the coziness of the room.
