Cotton TENCEL Care 101

You’ll be happy to know that caring for our cotton bedding is is surprisingly easy. Here are some simple do’s and don'ts to keep your sheets looking and feeling their best for years to come:

Do

• Wash regularly - Change and wash your sheets often to keep things fresh. We recommend weekly washings.
• Wash gently - Machine wash your sheets separately in cold water using the gentle/delicate wash cycle only.
• Dry carefully - Machine dry at low temperature to preserve the fabric's integrity.
• Iron lightly - If needed, iron on the lowest heat setting if wrinkles make an appearance.

Don't

• Use bleach - Bleach is not recommended for any Double Stitch products. Let's keep those colors vibrant!
• Use fabric softeners – This includes dryer sheets. This can leave a residue that alters the fabric’s feel and finish. 
• Combine colors – Wash lights with lights and darks with darks to prevent any unexpected color surprises.
• Mix loads - Avoid washing bedding together with clothing. Let your sheets have their own spa day.
• Expose them to sunlight - Avoid direct sunlight. Our sheets prefer a more subtle ambiance.
• Use Harsh Chemicals - Do not use any detergent with chlorine. Let's keep it gentle and chemical-free.
• Send them to the cleaners - Do not dry clean. Your cotton sheets prefer the comfort of home.
