Product Feature: Meet Our Linen Lyocell Sheets - Double Stitch By Bedsure

Ultra-breathable and moisture-wicking, our exclusive linen blend is ideal for hot sleepers

There’s some synergistic magic that happens when two good things are combined to create something extraordinary. We’re talking about a match truly made in heaven, like cherry cola or peanut butter and jelly. And we think we’ve discovered yet another perfect pairing with our linen lyocell sheets.

Now, you may be thinking to yourself:

Hang on a minute. Linen sounds familiar, but lyocell? What is that?

It’s a good question, and we’ve got the answers.

But first: a little linen history.

There’s a reason linen is considered a premium bedding material. It’s got a cozy “lived-in” look and feel, and it’s durable, too. It’s not uncommon for linen sheets to last for decades or longer through thousands of washes.

It’s also more breathable than cotton, meaning it will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

But as anyone who has ever owned linen sheets knows, traditional linen is prone to both pilling and wrinkling, which means those fine linen sheets that feel so wonderful don’t always look so great, until now.

Our Linen Lyocell Sheet Set uses responsibly sourced, imported French flax that is both sustainable and wonderfully durable, ensuring you’ll enjoy your new sheets for years to come.

The low down on lyocell.

Another drawback to standard linen is its straight from the package feel. Some describe it as “crisp” while others say it is downright “rough and scratchy.” Long story short, it can take a few dozen washes before it transforms into that quintessentially soft linen you love.

But that’s not the case with our custom blend, and that’s due in large part to the addition of lyocell, a natural plant fiber that pairs perfectly with linen. This lyocell gives our Double Stitch sheets their signature feel. In fact, our proprietary blend is so ridiculously soft—straight out of the box—that you’ll have to feel it yourself to believe it. Lyocell allows our sheets to have that luxurious, lived-in feel from the very first use.

Lyocell also makes our linen even more breathable and moisture-wicking than traditional linen.

To put it simply: this is the linen you know and love, but even better.

But wait! There’s more.

We think it’s important to know how your sheets were crafted and where they come from, so you can feel good about feeling good. We wanted to share a few important facts about the Double Stitch crafting process:

  • We believe in responsible sourcing. Our plant-derived lyocell is water-efficient and produced in a closed loop to recover all waste products.
  • We believe in sustainable practices. We make our linen with flax imported from France. Why? It’s durable, breathable, and requires minimal water and pesticides to thrive.
  • We believe in pure comfort. You can rest easy knowing our linen lyocell blend is OEKO-TEX certified. That means you can rest easy knowing your Double Stitch Linen Lyocell Sheets are free from harmful chemicals, supporting a healthy sleep environment.
