Mongolian Cashmere Wool Twill Throw Blanket

This is a pretty blanket, yet thin and not what I was expecting or hoping for. This blanket is 50’ x 60” so, it’s a good size for a lounger/couch or car blanket at best. The material is cashmere and wool making it feel a bit soft, but not as soft as I thought it would be. It’s a fancy blanket I guess, just not for me.

I ordered the Double Stitch cashmere wool blanket because I thought it would make a beautiful addition to my living room, and I was impressed with the natural fabric. However, for the price, I am disappointed with the craftsmanship. The blanket arrived beautifully displayed in a well-constructed box with a cute ribbon. When I untied it, I immediately noticed a thread had split and unraveled. I removed the thread, but I am concerned about whether more will unravel. Despite this, the blanket is exceptionally soft and lightweight. The blanket measures 50"x60", providing full coverage when lounging on the couch. Because of the quality of the material, the blanket is dry-clean only. I hope to enjoy this blanket for many years, but I am concerned about its longevity.

It’s woven in a classic twill pattern with fringes. It’s the perfect size of 50"x60", just the perfect size for a nap on a Sunday afternoon with a cup of warm tea and a scone. It’s warm but not heavy at all. Very light weight for the warmth. A perfect gift idea for that special someone.
